It’s no secret we love our Marc Jacobs x Vans sneaker collaborations around here. They’ve been a mainstay on the site since 2004, when Josh stated clearly: I love limited edition sneakers, skateboarding, and Marc Jacobs. I’ll go ahead and agree with him on that one. The classic white canvas slip-ons are some of my favorite Vans of all time, even though they tend to dirty up really quickly. To me, soiled white Vans are chock full of character, and I still enjoy – like I did as a kid – seeing how many different stains I can get on them. The newest run of three from this collab catches us just in time for summer, the middle model (above) even tricking us a bit into thinking it’s an Old Skool. Cop ‘em from the Vault for $80.

Aloha Rag just received literally 15 different styles of the the limited edition Vans Marc Jacob Editions. These aren’t new styles, but they’ve been fairly hard to find– and weren’t previously available online anywhere I knew of. Well I’m partial too the slip ons, the Skate High’s are pretty damn nostalgic too. These are the Cross Word Slip on LX’s, which sold out way too fast (you have to love the pink sole). There are still a handful of other slip on styles for sale at a reasonable $85. Spring time is upon us, get ready! Well you’re at it check out Aloha Rag– they have a pretty sick online store, great collection.

As you probably can tell; I love limited edition sneakers, skateboarding, and Marc Jacobs, so when I heard Marc Jacobs teamed up with vans to produce a limited edition set of some of the most classic skateboard sneakers ever, I was excited to see the results. These suckers are collector's items with less than 50 of each model produced, that's what I call limited edition. There are even some very hard to find MJ ‘skateboards floating around too if you want the whole package. Looks like beinghunted only has two models in a few sizes left. Anyone seen where to get the boards at?
