Think you’ve got a hit? Need a quick and easy distribution outlet on to the iTunes music stores in US, Canada, Japan, The U.K., Europe, and Australia? TuneCore seems to have a pretty nifty service that lets you get your music or even cover tunes up for sale on iTunes and Raphsody without asking for your rights or taking any money from the sale of your music. You pay a $7.98 maintenance and storage fee per album, and keep 100% of what iTunes pays, which ends up being about 70 cents per song in the US.

Six Degrees is a print magazine project by a few talented students at North Carolina State University– it’s a place for students to share and show off their work to the world. The design samples online seem pretty fresh, and I love supporting independent designers. Check out the multimedia section, there are some pretty provocative quicktime shorts worth watching. They also have some pretty nifty 6 degrees gifts and apparel with their vine laden number 6 logo.

You know how much I love limited edition artist t-shirts, and I was pretty pleased with what I saw over at Owl Movement. Owl is a creative t-shirt company that features young and up and coming artists like Graphic Airlines– who designed this ‘Buddha Rock’ t-shirt. Graphic Airlines is a design group out of Hong Kong, with a seriously good sense of humor. Buddha definitely does rock and it was only a matter of time before someone illustrated it this well, let alone at all.
