The Nobelity Project is a certified education and action non-profit working towards a better future for all children. In a world where knowledge is power, one of The Nobelity Project’s principal goals “is to provide people all over the world with reliable information and innovative thinking on pressing global problems like global warming, the energy challenge, global health, economic disparity and development, cultural understanding, nuclear proliferation, and general questions of war and peace.” To aid in spreading this information, Turk Pipkin created the feature documentary “Nobelity”. The film takes a look at these, the most pressing issues in our world today, through the eyes of nine distinguished Nobel laureates including Steven Weinberg, Ahmed Zewail, and Wangari Maathai with the children from all over the globe as the main characters. A must see for anyone concerned with the current state of our world– this eye opening, touching, and informative film will motivate you to change for a better tomorrow, today!

Andrew Thompson a recent graduate from the Rochester Institute of Technology with experience in motion and design. One look at his credentials - motion graphics, interactive animation, and name branding, and you know why his portfolio, which already includes work for brands like Nike, Subaru, and Atari, is awesome both in its grandeur and detail. His new site, redesigned and in color, holds up to its namesake, Atslopes, which means to have or go in a direction other than perpendicular or horizontal, and is representative of his approach to work. Evolving from tracing his original influences - Ninja Turtles and Transformers, to graphics that make your eyes pop, this talented, diversified, and passionate designer is definitely worthy of recognition!

Back in the winter of 2003, the good people of Lomography lent a Brooklyn gentleman by the name of Dalek a white color-splash camera to customize as he pleased. So impressed were they by the jazzy black and white number that they have recombined forces to create the Dalek Edition SuperSampler Box Set. For the SuperSampler , Dalek has adorned the limited edition magenta camera with his “precision line work, amazing use of color, and world-famous Space Monkey motifs. The set includes a Custom Supersampler with Dalek graphics with outer box and inner molded case, URBANIZE - a 168 page soft-cover book filled with graphics and images (all of which were shot by Dalek himself or hand-selected submissions by him), and a 144 page Supersampler Lomography book. The culmination of nearly one year of work, the Dalek Edition SuperSampler is great addition to any photography library!

TuntoFinland has long been associated with great minimalist design, but they’re just as well known for graphic prints and patterns too. It comes as no surprise than that Finnish design house Tunto is combining the best of these two seemingly disparate worlds in their collection of goods. With the recent barrage of customized, limited edition skateboard decks and a very limited amount of wall space, the Skede chair has become the solution to our problems. The chair makes great use of a skateboard deck to form both the backrest and supporting leg for the tripod setup and because the deck is removable you can customize it as your taste changes. The chair is created out of brushed stainless steel and is available with or without a leather covering and an optional Finnish Control deck. Put all your old decks to use with the refreshingly simple design from Tunto!
