Kaza Razat, senior interactive art director and overall motion graphics genius did this great video as a donation to Amnesty International and the ControlArms campaign. Our friends over at Monsieur T in Portland, OR have been creating great skateboard and indie art-scene-inspired screen printed tees since 2004. We got a sneak preview of their new Fall/Winter ‘06 line at their launch party and art show which featured work from Monsieur T artist Ryan Berkley. Not only was this the first time for the public to view and purchase items from the new line, which featured designs by local celebrities Bwana Spoons and Martin Ontiveros, but it was also Berkley's first solo exhibition. Berkley has created some of Monsieur's best selling tees including a turtle ravaging the city of Portland and has also illustrated the book, Super Crafty: Over 75 Amazing How-to Projects, which was published last fall. Monsieur T's are sold at select independent boutiques nationwide and of course on their site as well.

UK Based graphic designer Nik Ainley has an interesting philosophy about digital media: He wont stop trying to further his expertise until he has mastered all the tools he needs to fully realize his designs. He taught himself Photoshop in his spare time while gaining a degree in physics at Imperial College London. His work is both imaginative and refreshing– check him out.

This non-profit movement allows you to purge unwanted items from your basement without the hassle of a garage sale or the expense of a classified ad. The trade-off is that you have to GIVE it away. The Freecycle Network was started in May 2003 to promote waste reduction in Tucson's downtown and decrease landfills. Whether you wish to get a lawnmower, piano, lazy-boy or fax machine, Freecycle helps you find a taker. The only rules: Everything posted must be free, legal, and appropriate for all ages. You can also choose to give your stuff away to a non-profit organization. Membership is free—just look to signup in your region.

After growing tiresome of traditional academia and journalism's narrow view of the blogsphere, Josh Spear took it upon himself to create his own bog, Joshspear.com. In barely two years, his blog has become a daily destination for inspiration for industry execs and culture junkies alike. It's a chance to voice your opinion about controversial issues. A place that forces you to figure out what you believe. A space for meaningful conversation anytime of the day. And you can do it all without the annoying clutter of ads, personals and other screen-crap.
