Choque Cultural, the site of a pixacao attack that made the major newspapers in Sao Paulo recently, has bounced back as we knew they would. They re-opened their doors this past weekend to a freshly painted gallery and an incredible new show, Trimassa, curated by street art legend Carlos Dias who contributed his newest works as well. The exhibit gathers graffiti, tattoo, comic and illustration artists from Brazil’s southern city of Porto Alegre, which has a healthy and thriving art scene of its own. Among the stars on the walls are this writer’s favorite Bruno 9li, Silvana Mello and Carla Barth — making this one of Choque’s best shows yet in my humble opinion. You can check out the works here. What a magnificent return to form. Way to go, guys!

Clive, the mascot for the urban magazine Format, has mad style. Decked out in his baby blue hoodie and sweet sneaks, he’s ready to kick it wherever you go. The plush toy was designed in collaboration with Monster Factory, a company that pumps out, lovable monster stuffies. Once he goes on sale, make sure to save a spot for him on the couch because you’ll finally have someone who won’t judge you when you’re on your third 40.

If you’re looking for that one-of-a-kind bed, armoir, or rocking chair that fits in perfectly to your unique space — and you’ve got a few bucks to throw around — you might want to take a look at the work of Allan Lake. The U.K. designer uses an array of British hardwoods from sustainable woodlands to create fantastical furniture that looks straight out of a surrealistic fairy tale. Each commissioned work is akin to art, blending in beautifully with its surroundings, yet still might inspire you to turn your bedroom into a museum for your new centerpiece.

Shen sent us a email in our handy tip button in the top right of your screen letting us know about her illustrative portfolio. Her artwork feels like the images for the nursery rhymes we were never told. Alongside displaying a few of her collaborative works, she has four series of illustrations and a look at her sketchbook. Then there is the all important store were we found this gem: { bunncula }. The print comes with blue or pink eyes, your choice (just like a J. Crew sweater). Have a look at Shen’s visions of the world and watch out for zombie/vampire bunnies.
