The idea of waxed jackets and (even better) waxed boots always intrigued me. About a year ago, I heard of Stockholm based Gram Designs and I desperately tried to locate a pair. Reasonably priced and uniquely styled (who can say that about most of the brands today?), Gram shoes have been flying slightly under the radar, but never far from people’s minds. Their latest style, the 406g is touted as a part sneaker, part hiking boot hybrid. Do you know what I think? It’s not much different than their previous offerings, which is fine by me! The shoes are crafted out of canvas, include iconic mesh eyelets, and a thick rubber sole for maximum comfort. For this three year old Swedish footwear company, the 406g represents a subtle and noteworthy maturity.

Wow! Very cool. Kind of looks like Chuck Taylor meets the workplace.

Hi there. I’m a regular reader of your blog - very good work! I just bought a pair ladies gram at http://www.kitchener.ch and I love them. They also stock the model mentioned. The price was around 160$ and shipping was quite cheap.
